Jukebox

One of the things we're trying to change out is the jukebox. Gotta stop the bleeding from leasing everything. Does anybody out there actually OWN an internet jukebox? I tried contacting AMI, but was told that they do not sell direct, pretty much the same deal with TouchTunes. He then asked the name of the place, so I hung up. What's he need the name for if he's not going to sell anyways? I see that there's a company that does sell direct - barjukebox.com - but I wonder about their music selection or if there's another option out there.

If anybody has other suggestions for video game dealers on the West coast, that would be appreciated as well. Looking for things such as the newer Golden Tee that can be used for online competitions and $$ games.

Get a vending service.
Aside from paying the electric to run the equipment and internet, our vending service handle touch tunes and mega touch machines , cigarettes and snack machines for us with a split % in proceeds. They also handle the service and maintenance contracts and any AMI licenses fees or taxes.
You dont want to own one, then you pay for the upgrades in technology ,maintenance ,parts ,labor and anything else that can go wrong with them.

Most V.S. also still have "video games" ,pinball ect that thier more then happy to relocate from there warehouse to your business.
Call a few and make a deal.

Or....get an old 500 cd juke box, buy bulk lot cds and fill that puppy up.

Just my $.02

I'd contact Mountain Coin in Portland >>> 8700 N.E. Columbia, Portland Oregon 97220 -- (503) 234-5491. They may have something you want to buy; however, I'd ask if they can recommend a local vending company for you to meet with and discuss your particular needs.

We've owned all our table top Megatouch games in the past but, they are expensive to maintain. Not sure the going price today but, I'm guessing a Megatouch, Golden Tee or Jukebox will cost you $3,500 or more per game.

It doesn't really seem to make sense to own these at our venue. I'm not an electronics technician; so, we are happy to take a rake off the machines -- typically a 40/60 split. The internet jukebox has a fee which is paid for before the split.

We really don't make much from the video games and/or jukebox. The pool tables are another story -- we own all four of our Valley's ;)
