My background here is with a Cuetec Massey Jump Break. It is a good enough jump break, but I struggle to jump with it, it is slow to take apart and put together and it isn't heavy enough.
What things do you like in a jump break?
heavy/light
length preference
wrap or wrapless
joint type
1 shaft or 2
phenolic ferrule and/or tip
Thanks, I'm just trying to compare what I think I want to others. I think I want a heavy 21 - 24 oz cue, 13mm shaft with stiff taper, phenolic or similar tip and ferrule, maybe a second BCA legal shaft, QR joint for the jump cue, 3/8 x 10 radial brass long pin for the main joint. I think I would like all wrapless so my hands stick to the finish.
Has anyone used the billiard wharehouse jump break here It is a tad light but similar to what I have in mind.
