who makes the best one???
i know some will say its personal preference
but i want to see the replies to see if there is a concensus
thanks for your replies

do any of you guys play pool??
or do you go gaga over the workmanship of the cue???
nobody has advice for a jump or break cue???

This is a list of the j/b cues I own and would recommend any of them.
I also like Samsara j/b cues, but prefer a break cue with a seperate jump.

Currently using-Poison VX 2.9 w/Venom shaft-Samsara tip
Jericho Stinger-terrific for breaking & jumping
Steve Lomax set-never hit a ball
Showcase Buster-very good cue
Ernie Martinez x2-nice older EM cues used as players, both need j/b tips

Anything stiff with a hard tip will break the balls great with proper tech...

Jump cue?? Learn to kick with control when you have a safe laid on you and when you are running out don't hook yourself! Who needs a jump cue??? ;) lol

sorry...tired and feeling a little punchy

I have a Samsara/MG j/b in my bag and love it!

There have been a lot of threads ahead of you on this subject. Search the forum for them and see what is popular...

Steve Lomax seems to be VERY popular on this forum. All his stuff goes super fast on the second hand market...if that tells you anything??

i dont mind making jump breaks their convient (sp) but honestly 2 seperate cues work bestmost of the time for people i make a set matching a break cue thats 58 inches long and has a slightly diffrent taper to the shaft to make it a little more rigid, and one of my extremly hard leather breaking tips with a hard ivorine or phenolic ferrule. and the jump cue is standard length with phenolic tip but skinnier than typically jump/break forearms.

usually something built to do 2 or more tasks doesnt work as good as something built for one task only.
