Jump Cue Handle Case

Yes, I did

I got one free when I purchased my Scorpion jump cue from MichaelJ's, and the case is first class (real good quality). I never used it though as I put my jump butt in the big pocket of my case. (no, I don't have it anymore). And no, 2 different butt sections will not fit in it. .

Sounds like you might be one of these guys that need to graduate to a
3 x 5 or 3 x 6 case.

Originally, I sewed velcro onto a soft case (for the jump stick), and attached it on the back of a smaller hard case I had. It worked fine, and if they are the same color, you can hardly tell.

I, now, have the Action Elite ELN 3 x 5 from Pooldawg, and it is the perfect
size and not too heavy. Lots of features, including a seperate jump butt
pocket with its own zipper, for 79.20 with free shipping. Take a look at it on Pooldawg, I am real happy with mine.

(Hint: The J&J break/jump cues on sale in For Sale section are a better buy plus you get a good
breaker for less money. Jumps good to. And you can use middle section for longer jumps. Quick
release joints. I sold my Scorpion jump cue after getting used to the J&J).

of the Stealth, but can not remember if it is a Break/jump stick (just put
butt in your regular case) or just a jump stick with 2 handles.

Thanks, I was just on Pooldawg checking the Action cases. I have a Guiseppei and the long pocket is not long enough for the longer part of the handle 11 3/4 the shorter part of the handle is 8 1/4 and it will fit, so i was thinking about getting the Scorpion. The only thing i do not like is that it only has a Clip on one end. I do not carry my cases over the shoulder, i use the handle, i would have to rig some other kind of clip at the other end.

:)

Here is a Pic of the Stealth.

Looks like a Great Setup. Several Casemaker will make you a Sleeve, or Envelope for you JUMP BUTT... Like the Old Gerge Sleeve

IIRC, some of the TAlisman cases have a special jump cue sleeve inside the large pockets. However, I'm not sure just how large it is and if it would hold both sections of the Stealth.

I have to agree with Snapshot, to a point. I prefer using a J/B. Mine happens to be a Sledgehammer, but there are other good ones, including the Omen Grey Ghost. The Sledgehammer breaks great and it jumps as well, or better than, any dedicated jump cue.

i ever had an idea of getting a matching mini It's George case to go along with my case just to squeeze in a jump butt..then it struck my mind how cute a mini Jack Justis case would be..the mini case would be as realistic as the real thing..tho the pouch would be hold a piece of chalk only :)

I made a jump butt case to attach to my old Porper 4x4 case out of a golf club tube. I took a PVC cap just under the size of the tube and wrapped it with tape to fit tightly. Once pressed into one end of the tube, it served as the bottom. For the top, I took a 35mm film canister and it slips snugly over the top. The best part is that the tube and film canister are black, so they actually look decent. I painted the PVC cap on the bottom black to match. If I have time tonight, I'll post a picture when I get home.

Stealth Cue

I also have a Stealth Cue, but with modifications done.
First thing is I had my cue guy but on an X-Breaker Tip.
The second is a seperate extension to replace the back of the cue to make it a full size Break Cue.
So it is like having a break cue with two lengths for jumping and masse' shots.
I think this is the best setup, I have ever had, yet.
The original tip is great, but the x-break tip is easier to apply english but gives the same jump as the Phenolic break ferrule-tips.
I found for myself that it was harder to control the break with the phenolic type tips.
As for the little Scorpion case it would only hold the middle of the three piece stealth cue.
I think, if I was you. I would come up with something else. "Just my opinion".

Good Luck, From Raleigh, NC

I do have a couple J/B Cues as well. A Cuetec 99296 and a Sterling.
I like the way they both break and they jump good also, but the AT-1 is so
far superior at jumps, i like to have it with me at all times. It is not a problem when i take my Sterling case, cause there is room for it. The problem comes in when i want to go play with cues in my Guisseppi case.
It is a 2X4 and there is a open spot for the shaft, but the long pocket on the case is a couple inches to short and the 11 3/4 part of the handle won't fit in.:) If the pocket was just a little bit longer, my problem would be solved.
