Jump Instruction Video from Ralf Souquet

Although it is a short video, I am very impressed with how professional and detailed Ralf Souquet's explaination is. I believe he has covered the most important part of the jump, which is the jump stroke.

I remember a few members here have asked recently about how to jump a ball properly, I hope they will find this helpful.

These videos (the jump and the break instructional videos) can also be watched from the X breaker web site.

Thank you so much.

Regards,
Richard

Great video, Thank you for posting. I would have used a "Dart Style" jump for that shot, but that's just me.

Also learned something else. I did not know the X-Breaker was a B/J Cue.

Having never seen one in person, I thought they were just for breaking.

:D

Thank you for bringing that to my attention. The X breaker is designed as a break cue but is also a jump cue, and a very good one I may add.:)

I will pay more attention to make sure everyone understands that. Thank you once again for bringing that to my attention.

Thank you.

Richard

Awesome Richard. Got the Kaiser using your break cue. That's great man!!! Cant see why he wouldnt, it is THE BEST out there.

Thank you.
Ralf Souquet has had a great year in 2006. I am very happy for him, and I am even more happy that he is interested in switching his break jump cue after such an awesome season.
I am looking forward to seeing Ralf Souquet winning more tournaments in 2007.
Icon of Sin, I will be looking forward to meeting you in Valley Forge. I will be upstairs right beside the Gabriel Table booth.
Regards,
Richard

mr souquet came third in the scandinavian 8-ball battle this week.
his break was really massive. he got multiple balls on every break.
the most i believe was five balls, still leaving a somewhat difficult table...

Thank you for the updates. I am glad to hear that he is breaking well with his new X Breaker.
You are saying he made 5 balls off the break in 8 ball and still had a difficult run out...that is just not right!!! :)
Is there any on line report of this tournament?
Thank you for the updates once again.
Richard

I remember a certain match of Ralph where he was aiming for a jump shot. the cue ball jumped alright except that it landed straight inside the pocket. Ralph could only laugh during that moment. I could hardly breath laughing myself up just the same and so was my brother along with me. classic kaisser moment, definitely priceless !:D
