In general, what are the specification differences between a jump cue and a masse cue? I assume the jump cue is obviously lighter, but what about other factors such as, shaft or overall cue length, tip diameter, weight, joint construction, etc. I know a masse cue is shorter than a regular cue. Can a jump cue be used as an effective masse cue? Unless specializing in trick shots or three cushion, should I just stick with a regular cue? Full masses' don't really come up very often in pool anyway. Just curious. Thanks in advance.
