40 players turned out for the Murfreesboro Amateur 9-ball tournament at Murfreesboro Billiard Club in Murfreesboro, TN.

The tournament is an A/B Amateur event that is handi-capped races, alternate the break, and Texas Express rules. "AA" players race to 10, "A" players race to 9, and "B" players race to 7.
Top players vying for the $1,000 first place prize fund include "AA" players, Landon Shuffett, Billy Young, Josh O'Neal, and Mike Laney. "A" players Russ Edwards, Mike Jones, Brad Hutchins, Daniel McKinney, Carlos Carter, Eddie Adams, and Ryan Dunn. "B" players include Daniel Autrey and Mike Templeton.
