AZ, tell me what you think about this cue Pete made for a customer. Very different and very eye catching. Pete's been working on this cue for a long time now. I was over there while he was packing it up to be shipped. Cocobolo forearm and butt and all the white is ivory. Too many other details to put down. Enjoy! -ARM

This cue is a little too much for my taste, but Pete's work is outstanding.
Assuming, the buyer wanted this design, I'm sure he was happy with it.
 
The wood and the wrap look very nice but I don't care for the inlay designs at all. The wavey design at the bottom of the cue is odd and I don't like how the arrows look on a cue. I hear Omen makes a nice cue, but I wouldn't play with that cue.
 
Omen cues

That's a very unique and different looking cue. It will definatly stand out in a pool room or tournament. I like it......

I am liking leather grips more and more each time I see one done so nice. The inlays are a bit busy for my taste, as some others have said. If you take out the arrows, and just have the small white points, or even no points, the cue would be more balanced IMHO.

I like the ringwork, have not seen people use 2 different shapes much.
 
i love petes cues.. but i dont like this one.. the cue iteself is really nice.. its that the forearm is too busy with oddly shaped inlays and the butt sleeve is almost bare...

Yes Pete stepped outside his comfort zone to design this cue to the customers request. It isn't for my taste either but I awe at the craftsmanship and attention to detail Pete puts into his cues. Also he is one hell of a guy. This cue I think is heading up to N.J.

Yeah, thanks for the reminder even though I just need to step outside for that :)

No trip this year bud but hopefully next year we'll be back down.
 
even though this cue is a little ...different... i like it and im liking it a little more each time i look at it. esdpecially the veneers in the forearm.
