What kind of suicidal idiot would go to 3d world country with that much cash? It's insanely dangerous! Nevermind the players and backers themselves, what if the local gangsters get to hear about it? He should definitely NOT go to the Phillipines. Play somewhere where law and order exist and maybe the players are not waving assault rifles around. If the pinoys think this is easy money, surely they could spring for plane tickets?

Filipinos are one of nicest and hospitable country in the world, I don't think there are such gangsters.. Philippines is now one of the safest countries in Asia. Most of the Pinoy Players has a difficulty obtaining VISA's specially the US, if you go to the Philippines you will find thousands of really talented players that are unknown in the international scene.

i used to a little bit, but too many called me names like nit, cheat, lock artist etc. so i am slowing down on the great stories about gambling and players in the past. so let the memories die with the older crowd. there is a great damon runyon book with stories of some of the great hustlers, cheats, con men of the long past. i knew a few of them well, all long dead, few if any are left that can pass it on or want to tell the real stories for their era.
