I know this talk about Kamui chalk has been posted about a hundred times and some people out there will tell you that and complain about a new thread.
Let them complain.
I purchased a half used cube of kamui chalk from a friend for ten dollars and sure enough, it does make a difference. Do I use it when I practice? No way, but when playing a money game or playing against an equal or better player in a tournament I use it.
I played for about three hours tonight, using master chalk I don't remember miscuing once. I have a pretty good stroke. But I do miscue maybe once in every two hours that I play.
Using Kamui chalk I have only miscued when trying crazy Corey Deuel type shots.
During regular play under pressure I have yet to miscue.
It adds confidence, more than a thousand dollar cue stick, more than a $35 dollar tip. And confidence is one of the biggest parts of playing pool well.
I have been using moori or everest tips on my cue and the next tip I put on will be a Kamui.
I made lots of jokes about suckers buying Kamui stuff to my group of friends over the last year. Have you heard about the $25 dollar chalk, hahaha, etc.
Well, I am not laughing now.
I read about Kamui here on this website.

I really hate to promote drug money laundering or communism like this web page suggests but I am moving more and more to being that sucker that buys Kamui stuff.
