Kamui Medium Hardness

Anyone knows the hardness level of Kamui Medium tan/brown in color . Thanks

So, basically, Kamui browns are more for people that tend to play more force follow, or mid to high english, where as the black have more elasticity for those that play a lot of more bottom shots to get position. That was from their flyers when I became an authorized installer. Now as to the hardness factor....if you are used to using another tip that is a medium....I highly recommend installing a soft, the rule of thumb for Kamui is whatever the hardness is at install, give it about 3-4 weeks of playing and it will increase hardness by at least 3/4 into the next level. It will also need a mushroom trim by then. Below is a chart showing the levels depending on the black/brown and hardness.

Remember that all tips really just take up the last fourth of the shore scale, if a tip rates 81 or 83 is more a theoretical thing than a practical thing and it does not take into account how the tip behaves after being installed. Some keep their shape better than others, chalk adhesion varies and so on.
