Kamui tips, real or fake?

Just wanted to know if you can use the site, www.Kamuibrand.com/sn to check the authenticity of a Black Kamui Clear tip. I was told this site is for regular Kamui tips only but I swear I've tested Kamui Clears in the past and it worked. Thank you

Still waiting on an email from Kamui on the matter.

As you may already know, KAMUI tips and many other brands are counterfeited through factories out of China. It has been a huge challenge for us to find ways to keep the counterfeiters at bay. Our latest and greatest way we are keeping the fakes out of the way is with our new database/serial number technology. Our method to protecting YOU(the player) is with the printed serial number on the outside of the KAMUI tip.

At the KAMUI factory, we produce a unique serial number that is exclusive to your tip. The serial number that is printed on the tape, attached to the tip, is not repeated or in a numeric sequence.

That's my understanding also. I bought 5 tips from Amozon and they all say fake on the Kamui website. The seller has a 99% rating and told me the SN checker isn't for clear Kamui's.
It's been awhile but I swear I've checked Kamui clear's before with a real rating, even told me the hardness rating. No reply from Kamui yet.
