Well, I guess that I just felt the strong arm of the UPA right up my ass. I have been reading all of these posts about it for months, really staying indifferent on the whole subject. I am sure that if you asked every paying attendee at the World Summit if they were hoping to see or wishing they could see Keith play and entertain, they would all say yes. I understand about Earl too, but he is the guy that the audience loves to hate, and whether he acted right or wrong, CW would be better off paying Earls dues and entry fees and let bygones be bygones because moreso than any member of that UPA, Earl Strickland sells tickets. Can you imagine, a pro circuit missing one of the winningest pool players of all time? Has anyone won more US Opens? World Championships? Is there anyone more contreversial? Is there anyone that the fans would rather watch? Aside from Efren and Jeanette Lee that is. Ridiculous. I am getting off topic a bit, but it is a real shame that the New Yorker's won't be treated to the Earthquake's antics and fine playing. Keith did play at the Capital City which was also a UPA event, but I guess he was considered to be local, now that I think about it, I remember a story about that when he had to show CW some ID.
Keith:
There is a shady place on Canal St in NYC Chinatown where you can get a NY State Drivers license for 100 bucks. Then you could be local for this event too. Oh well, good luck at the Joss event.
