Kiel wood shaft ?

Are any of you playing with a Kiel wood shaft? If so, please share your thoughts.

I got one. To me it has the stiff hit of a standard maple shaft but low deflection. I previously shot with ob classic pro (11.75 mm one) and it has slightly more deflection than that. This may be related to me having a kiel wood shaft that is 12.5mm. But if you shoot with LD shaft now should be easy to adjust to. I like it.

I have one for my predator 11.5mm short ferule and light weighted at the tip very light shaft and pretty Low deflection hits good I also had one in a radial joint 12.5mm played great good LD.

Thanks guys

I have one that was loaned to me to try. I thought maybe the low deflection was my imagination. It is a bit over 13mm and if I keep it I will send it back to Diveney with a butt he made me for a little better joint fit and have it made into a 12.75 mm.

Pat also said he is making LD shafts now. I will have to wait until winter to try it as there is to much going on in Alaska right now to play much pool.

So many shafts, so little time.........
