Kling on craigslist in Iowa

Amazing, selling an item for $10K and almost no description. I've got more description selling a cube of chalk.

How about year, condition, wood, maybe a little history on the table, the brand, etc. How long you've owned it, where did you buy it?

Tell me why I should buy this table. Even the folks that know the history, still want to know condition? why not list it? why not do something to move it.

Appraised at $10K, by whom? when?

Kling tables sell themselves. This one looks like Circassian Walnut version and is the top of the line 6 leg version. 10K is a steal for that table, looks to be in fantastic shape.

Klings were made by Brunswick for Johnny Kling originally, to fill his KC Billiard hall. You should know this because he was a superstar Cubs catcher in their dynasty 1906-10 era. Here is a little info from the AZ search machine:

John Kling, in 1905. He was an excellent baseball player for several years, as well as playing pool for big money in the off season. He won the world billiards championship of 1909. The Brunswick Kling pool table was named after him. He played catcher for the Chicago Orphans, later the for the Cubs. Between 1906 and 1910, those Cubs won four NL pennants, and won the 1907 and 1908 World Series. Kling was a big part of that.
