A little shout out to folks at Omega Billiards. This weekend I purchased the Racks-on-Rocks PPV. Was a busy few days for me but was planning to watch the One Pocket and maybe a little 10 ball on the loop (couldn't watch much during live broadcast). I really enjoy when they loop. I can watch at my leisure and bump forward during the racking and player time outs. Well to my dismay they had no loops up.:ROFLMAO::poop::poop::mad:😭

Therefore contacted tech support number (via text) and Phil (Mmp) informed me that they only loop challenge matches and not tourney style events. This I was not aware of. Next up was BB 9-Ball. Now I would rather watch two cockroaches circle an old sandwich then watch Bar Box anything. So guess what Phil did?
  1. Offer me a partial refund?
  2. Offer me future discount?
  3. Tell me "buyer beware"?
None of the above. Full refund for my 4 day pass. Now that's customer centric thinking. That's the way to treat a customer. And now I'm a customer for life (except maybe BB events...I man has limits).

Thank you Omega and 3 Stars to Phil. Customer service is not dead. We need to support these kind of businesses.

Good job there, Omega.

Not much information on AzB about these events. Gorst defeated Chohan in the 1-Pocket finals. SVB and Gorst are playing (or will play) a match in the 4th round (round of 32 on the winners' side) of the 166-player 7-foot 9-Ball event. Earlier, Gomez squeaked by Tkach 9-8.

Well have their streams improved? I bought one a year or two back for that Derby style event they had in SC and it was a complete cluster. I think I had watched one or two out of TX prior to that and they were bad. Their "challenge" matches also have a stink on them from how they advertise them leaving many thinking they are just exhibition matches. So I haven't really bothered checking them out again. Also their prices are high and they come on here and dive bomb a post for advertising and then never come back on and respond. Maybe it has changed.

I'm not sure. I watched the Gorst/Frost match 2 weeks ago. It seemed fine except for the audio sometimes not in sync with the video, but that was a minor bother to me.. One thing I really liked about it was the ability to watch reloops of all the play. I've been busy with other stuff the past few days, and there are no reloops this time, so I did not purchase the current events.

I hope they rethink the Reloop thing for all their events. Actually all the streamers should.

From the bracket, I see that SVB beat Gorst 9-4 in the 7-foot 9-Ball earlier today. But it is still quite early in the event.

Can't wait for the big Texas Open next month. Always a huge Calcutta.
