Lathe Tool Inserts

I have read all the posts describing the inserts with the AK chip breaker, and was wondering about one fitting a 1/4" horrible freight, or ebay holder. If I read everything right, you need a 3/8 holder, which is no problem, just want to be sure I am ordering the right one. Also, there are 2 ic sizes on the travers tool site....

I have a Harbor Freight 7/10 lathe and a Taig-based cue lather. I use 5/16 inch tool holders on my HF and 1/4 inch on my cue lathe.

I wanted to see the difference between the CCMT and CCGT shapes as well as the difference between the 21.51 and 21.52 edges.

Can't say as I can tell very much at this point. But they cut nicely.
