I do not play in a league though have for a short time a few years back however my thoughts is; Would it be beneficial to have a forum section entitled "League Play" with the APA, BCA, TAP,.. as sub groups?

Since this is a good neutral forum, to offer an area like this just might attract even more players to an already popular forum. Sure would be a nice area where players could share their league discussions.

Just a thought...

How about a section strictly for advertisers...

J/K, no, I really do like the idea. Maybe one about "Best tips, cues, ect" so that the main forum does not clog up with two or three new posts a day.

The downside is that you start to have two dozen sub forums, and nobody can find anybody, or new things pop up in a section, and you just don't see it.

It's a tough balance.

I think it would be a good idea.

There is a lot of strategy to league team play and the game is played a little different on leagues with small rule changes and ball count and stuff like that making certain strategies differ from a straight up race to 5.

Id say have one forum for all the leagues and whatever topic the poster wants to discuss in there have them put the league initials in there thread title so posters know which rules the topic will be under. (Ex. [APA]Disallowing Jump Cues)
