undefined hey i was just wondering what happens? i have been playing pool for about 3 years now and have been playing league for about 2 years of that and i was wondering what you do when you start to shoot yourself out of leagues? i guess what i am asking is what is the transition from league to tournament play? i play both 8 and 9 ball and have excelled pretty quick and want to take the game to the next level but wonder what route that is exactly?what kind of tourneys should i be looking at trying to get into? i have done the small bar stuff and won my share of those . i want to know if there is some system ( like minor league baseball) you have to go thru to shoot in before you can get into some of the larger tourneys? dont want to sound stupid but would like to know what and where and when and how!! lol .

In the New York area we have a handicapped tour that all levels can participate in. If your area has something like that it's a great way to start tournament play and still have a chance to win against the best players. The best way to find out if something like that exists in your area is to ask some of the players in your local pool hall.
