Leather pockets rejecting balls

Here at the senior center in Las Cruces we have just had the tables redone. The corner pockets are rejecting balls badly. When I told the table mechanics from Olhausen that they were installing the pockets incorrectly they just ignored the old guys and kept doing a poor job. They are leather pockets and they don't fit flush with the pocket facings. The front end of the pocket sticks out at least a quarter inch past the facings. If the ball entering the pocket hit this obstruction it bounces to the opposite facing and out of the pocket. Are there any photos or detailed instruction anywhere that explain specifically the correct method of pocket installation?

There's a good mechanic in your area named Kerry Rhodes with A Better Billiard Service, contact him. I'm assuming that you purchased new pockets and those pocket are made in china and the design and craftsmanship of the pockets are why the table is rejecting balls and not so much the installers. how exactly did you want the pockets installed? theres a pocket on the pocket that fits into a hole in the rail. There's no adjustments.
