Earlier i posted a thread on where to buy leather blanks. I have ordered some from Tiger and Oklahoma billiards. It seem like alot of money for such a small piece. Do any cue makers buy it in bulk and cut there own? If so where is the best place to go? Thanx, Ron

You can buy it at www.tandyleather.com, but you have to sand the leather to the exact thickness for great wraps. Hope this helps.
 
Oklahoma's Billiards stuff is so consistent, I gladly spend the extra money for it. Time is money, I can be cutting points or sanding leather. I make more money cutting points. And have less heart burn with bad leather.
At the Hopkins show I had numerous people that couldn't believe some of the Oklahoma stuff wasn't real lizard. I haven't found anything like it at Tandy, and I live 30 minutes from the main corporate warehouse.
