Leaving jump/break together?

This may sound like a stupid question, but I recently got a jump/break cue and I was wondering if I could leave the bottom two pieces on the butt end together and only unscrew the shaft when I store it. I know if you leave a two piece together for a long time it can warp but I'm not sure about a three piece cue. Thanks.

You should have no problem leaving the bottom together. Welcome to the forum.
