LePro Tips - Hardness?

I've heard you can tell which Le Pro tips are best by inspecting the bottom after you sand the glue side. But alas, like everyone else has mentioned, you're lucky to get a good Le Pro or two out of every 10-20.

I didn't know that the Le Pro ratio was that terrible. I once heard that out of 100 tips, 25 go straight to the garbage, another 25 are questionable (put on house cues for the slashers) and 50% are good. If only 50% are good, that's still piss poor.

I get a Moori 3 (medium) put on professionally (with a lathe) a few times a year and to me(although expensive) it's money well spent. RJ

I go through 10-15 Boxes of Le Peo tips per year between Customer Cues and House Cues. There was about a 20% trash pile until recently. The latest 5 boxes or so have been great. I think Tweeten either has a new source or better quality control. Time will tell.

Yeah, I agree with the Moori tips. I used a Moori Medium now and love it. Just about every Le Pro tip I used had a pinging to it that drove me crazy.
