Lets go Ali Carter

After a disapointing first session that saw Ali Carter down 6-2 he has at least kept up with Ronnie at the beginning of the second session. He is now trailing 8-4, finishing off the fourth frame of the evening with a 70+ break.

As much as I love Ronnie, I can't help but root for Ali. No matter who wins I'll be happy.

Me too. I really hope he makes a fight of it. Not everyone can come to terms with the Crucible. But I think Carter was one of the crop of newer players, like Selby, who proved to themselves last year that they actually could win the damn thing.

Is that ref really tall, or are Ali and Ronnie really short?

Back on topic, I think if Ali makes a comeback it'll have to be tommorrow. he's throwing away lots of opportunites, so he may need the night to settle himself.

edit: Just noticed there is only one frame left in the session so obviously he must make the comeback tomorrow.
