I have been looking and looking for the perfect cue for me lately, and I found one by Paul Sumrall which is very close cuz I love how it plays, but lets be honest for a minute...I have bought and sold so many DZ cues because they are truly what I desire to play with, so when I asked him early today if he had anything I might like he sent me a photo with a Leopardwood 4 point forearm he had made. Now I dont see many cues made from this interesting looking wood so since the opportunity presented itself, I went to look at it and claimed it as my own. I just have to wait to allow him to finish it which is perfectly alright with me. I may add some things and make it not so basic, I havent decided yet. Anyways, I would like to see some examples of Leopardwood cues, I KNOW someone here has one ( or ten) lol C'mon guys, share those photos!!! :-)

wood specifics

Lacewood is a much lighter weight wood, and the grain typically has larger spots. Leopardwood has a much smaller grain spot and is typically a darker or more redish color than lacewood.
