Leveling a pool table

I have a 8 footer, Olhausen, and had it re-felted around Christmas. Ever since then I have noticed a slight roll that was not there before the installers re-felted. The table is on carpet and already has some shims under the legs.

How do you level out a pool table correctly? I put the level down in different spots of the table and the level shows level, but the balls are not rolling correctly? I don't have any table maintainence experience so I don't have any tools other than a standard 3ft level.

Any advice is helpful!

Thanks,
Ben

Lag the ball back and forth and see what is going on and where, You can only add shims or take them away under the legs at this point or call back guys who set it up to do it for you.

Have you checked out the 2nd sticky on this forum on how to level 3 piece slate? If I remember right, it also covers leveling the frame too. You will however, as pointed out already, need a machinist level to get it as close to perfect as possible if you do it youself.
