Limited edition cue value yes or no?

Any thoughts on limited edition collector cues? Does a numbered cue of a limited run really add any value to say a Meucci or other well known name brand? Just curious...

I would think so. If it's a popular model that people like, and they cant get others.

I wouldn't so much label the name "Limited edition" to the term "value" - but the less of a production cue made, as long as it is desirable, the higher the value should be....

Thanks guys for the input. I bought my stick purely because of the design work and colors. I'm sure I will be buried with it because I really enjoy shooting with it. The best reason for it.

Limited edition cues may be nicer or more exclusive from a production cue design standpoint, but typically have little or no collector value.
Cues made to be collectible are not, in fact it's the opposite in most cases.
