We are trying to develop a Legends Case as a Limited Edition Series and would like to get some ideas from the AZer's. We are going to select 5-Themes and do a Series of 10 only/each signature, 1x 2 numbered cases. The Shark Series is already in the works.
For this Thread we are soliciting feedback for the Legend Series, but if you have any suggestions for other Limited Editions, drop us a PM or email.

Would you be more apt to buy 10 different Biographical Cases of Icons of the game or would you like to see-Or-10 cases featuring several of the Icons on one case?

Ideas for who you would nominate to be on a Legends Case?,

Of course Mosconi comes to mind, Crane, Greenleaf, Ceulemans, Hoppe, Lassiter, Butera, Reyes, Rempe, Varner, Archer & Jean Balukas; just to name a few.

Good ideas float in the ether. I also thought about a case honoring the legends of the game.

I'd say one case would be better than several but if several then pick the players who are true icons whose fame went beyond the game, Mosconi, Fats, Mizerak, Hoppe, Greenleaf... that way you have a lot of information to work with when doing the case.

We thought as much, that doing a Mt.Rushmore type tribute would most likely sell better than individuals. We would probably sell most of the individually themed cases, but might be saddled with the lesser known greats, unless of course we found a collector to buy all 10 of the series to have entire collection-which collectively-should bring a higher price on resale. Thanks again for the feedback-especially JB-hopefully with this bump, we will get some additional feedback before we commit to the concept.

Well, both ways have merit.

I like the way you guys approach theme cases. You put a lot of meaningful symbols and information into the design.

The way I would approach it is to do the very top icons as cases of their own. Mosconi for example. I'd research the crap out of Mosconi to be able to put on the known things but also some of the little known things.

I plan to do a Rushmore-type case at some point but it will be a fairly straightforward list of hall-of-fame players on the case not a biopic.
