I Googled how to find an instructor... According to the search engine there are none available in Connecticut?

I did get a reply from the gentleman I contacted. I need to know, as someone who is not able to practice 10+ hours a week, is the rate that I would pay for instruction worth the investment? I do not plan on becoming a tournament player (due to available time, but who knows in the future) but I would like to know my fundamentals are in order and have guidance on how to improve my game. Would 1 lesson be enough for me to work off of? Are otheres who are not PBIA Master instructors that would cost less $ (for that matter, is the cost diffence worth it?)

I am a league player and have only gotten a couple lessons in my life but both times I have come away with great advice/insight that has helped improve my game. So as a student in a similar place as you... yeah, it's worth it.

You are going to be playing pool for your entire lifetime.
Without some guidance from an instructor, it could take you years to learn some of the most basic fundamentals.
With an instructor's observation and advice, you can bypass those years and enjoy the game more. A couple of hundred dollars over a year or so is a great investment.

I used to live in South Windsor, CT. Warwick, RI is only about 1 1/2 hours away from there.
There's an excellent instructor in Warwick, RI, definately one of the best in the country.
