On the butt of my longoni it has 21 with 500 underneath. Is 21 the weight, or is it 21 out of 500 made. I got this cue when my dad passed away so I really dont much about it. Thanks for any help.

Thanks NYC Cue Dude,

I wonder if this means anything being a Longoni. It is a GREAT looking cue. Think I should hold on to it being 21 out of 500?

Steve

:) It was my Dads, never would sell it! Just wondering if its worth more than I thought being limited to 500.

Thanks NYC,

Longoni's are not cheap. They are made in Italy by a family that has been making cues for 60 years. I have a Black Daemon G from their classic series and will vouch for that. You maybe should hang on to it. I only have one shaft and would like to locate a Predator shaft, but my cue has a new fangled joint they call an XP and don't know if can get one.

That's for sure. However, you'll get what you pay for. Nowadays, my main cue is a custom Longoni -- and I love it.

You can get an XP-joint Z-shaft for your cue, directly from Longoni, for about $270, or a 314 for $15 less.

Initially I was debating getting an XP joint Z-shaft myself, but I opted for a spec modified Pro Maple Custom instead.

Btw, here's a link to Longoni's dicontinued cues, maybe Mantis' dad's cue is among them: http://tinyurl.com/k9wtq
