looking for a cue for my dad

with the weather we have had in NJ, my Dad's basement flooded, and he had his cue in a case leaning against a wall. Needless to say the cue was found against the wall in about a foot of water. Goodbye cue....

So, I need to replace it. He has never had a decent cue, so I want to get him one.

Specifics
less than $500 to spend
Stainless Joint
wrapless
18.5 - 19oz
looking for a 30" shaft, but I can get him one of those later.

In this price range, I am expecting merry widow cues from high end makers mostly. I am good with a nice used cue with points too.

Lastly, my Dad is vietnam vet, retired and he says in the prime of his life. Bar table in the basement that I grew up on (literally), and want to get him something good. Not looking for a hand out by any means, just want to get him something that he will use that won't break his/my wallet (fixing his basement which is pretty high priced, and insurance sucks!)

So, any and all offerings I would appreciate.

Thank you

Chechen BCM interest you?

Dont know how to post link or pics from my Phone. Can link them in the am.

I bet Jim Baxter would work on a build with you around that budget. His user name here is Jim Baxter, does very pretty work, and it would be something entirely unique with high end woods and a good hit, as well as tons of nice little details that make it really something special.
