I think I have developed a very nice shaft profile for those that feel the SouthWest or McDermott shaft taper is a bit too stiff.
(I use the SouthWest and McDermott cue only as an example of profile and playability and no way suggest they are anything other than a top notch product)
I will re-taper a shaft for a few people if they will agree to two things.
1 - post a review of the shaft and how it plays before and after the re-taper.
2 - You pay postage both ways.
Ideally the shaft would be larger at the tip than what you want.
(13mm tip but you like something smaller)
This is not required but works best.
