hi,
i am looking for a good custom pool cue. here are the things i am looking for,
1. i like curly maple (for grip or forearm or both)
2. no grip
3. 6 points or more. (doesn't matter if they are plain with no outlines)
4. materials of preformance for inlays or points (ivory, (real or fake), purpleheart, cocbolo, tulipwood, maybe rosewod, )
5. no metal joints, no black joints, white or brown phenolic joints are great, also ivory, or maybe a wood i have seen some cues with a cocbolo joint and it looked nice cause it matched the butt.
6. 3/8 10 pin preferred

7. just looking for something different. not your average or common looking cue just in a different color scheme. something that will stand out but doesnt have to much going on. nice and classy

thank you evryone for your help, hopefully this is not to confusing or to much o ask fo, i just wanted to take a chance and see what anyone has to offer. its worth a try.
thank you

Do me a favor and get one of those Hills cues available at CueAddicts and then tell me how ya like it. They're priced well, and have a good rep. Just haven't heard from anyone that owns one yet.

you have a point but i do not want ot wait months or longer. i may have to but i thought i would give it a shot here first.

"Great" deal doesn't necessarily tell me how much you are willing to spend. $4000 for a Ginacue you mention would probably be a steal. For a really nice example of almost everything you are looking for, go to www.erikleecues.com and click on James White. Real nice cue, and Erik might even come off the price a little (won't bet on it), but his cues seem to be holding their value on this forum and with the collector cue community in general.

I have a Steve Kornele cue, brand new, Ebony forearm and butt with Cocobolo points... 3 high, 3 low, points reversed in butt sleeve. Ivorine (white) joint, wood to wood joint with 3/8x10 pin. 2 shafts, Moori med tips.

I'll take $600 right now.

your right, sorry, about 700 or less.

Custom Cues

I think these guys are right.....you should hook up with a cue builder and have something made to meet your specific requirements/desires.

I've got the SK Butterfly cue which is nice for the price ;) but it doesn't meet the exact build specs. My Schular is nice too but same problems with not meeting your specs!? It's gonna be hard to find an exact match!?

I think you should buy the McD E-D2 I've got for sale and have one built like you want.....in the mean time you got a nice cue to play with :D

i know i know i should order one. but i am a little impatient. i will probably end up doing that but i figured i would try. i am interested in SAMSARA. anyone have one? anyfeedback on them.

after some more research i am interested in a samsara. thanks to everyone who posted here. i will post a new thread about a wtb: samsara

thanks

Hi Bud,

Take a look at my Que Perfect Custom cue from Ronnie Powell (posted on June 3rd), at that price it's a deal, but I'm open to any serious offer.
