Looking for a reasonably priced sneaky pete used or new. I would like to stay under $200.

Prefer a weight of 19oz or 18oz.

i have been looking online and saw some nice looking cues from Arnot cues. Anyone know anything about Arnot cues.

Thanks,
gh8st

I've heard from friends and around the net that the quality and workmanship is poor. However, this is only hearsay as I have never seen or played with one.

www.dzcues.com

40 dollars over your price though

It actually says 240+ ... so you're both right

then I guess he'd have to sell them for that. wouldn't he? you know...come to think of it...that must be for a BASIC sneaky pete. no nice blank or anything. just wood. I always got nicer woods, like ebony, cocobolo, bacote, etc.

How about a Mike Stacey cue? They seem reasonably priced. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Stacey makes a good cue....I would stay away from the Arnot personally. I had one for five years, nothing but good things to say about it...but just my opinion, and rather not say why, stay away from his cues nowadays.

I just received a Mike Stacey Sneaky Pete today, played with it for 3 hours at lunch, and it felt fantastic from the very first hit. My understanding is that he sells this cue new for $275, maybe you could get it for less.

IMO, i would find a bar stick that u like very well. Buy the stick for around 20 bucks from the bar. IF ur lucky u can catch it when they have new ones. Then have the cue converted to a 2 piece sneaky pete from a good cuemaker. I myself just recently got me one and had Mike Johnson of Jensen Cues convrt it to a 2 piece sneaky pete. It matches up wood to wood great. So good i myself sometimes forget its a sneaky. Had him sand it and put a few coates of finish on it. So now its definately a stealth bar cue. Looks like a normal bar cue, but plays exceptionally well. Also a few more changes in it, like the ferrule and the tip. Tried to stay as close the "bar" look as possible. Great job coming from Mike, and i personally dont think i could have asked for anything better. Even saved me money on buying one that was already a sneaky pete......=-)

LOL! 3 hour lunches are rare, but sometimes necessary (especially when you get a new cue in the mail at noon!)

Hell ya would be surprised how a new cue would make you so sick that you needed to take off the afternoon from work to meet the UPS guy.

It was worse than that - I left for 2 hrs on Saturday and had the delivery notice on my door, so I had to wait until Monday to get it :( Just about drove me nuts...wait a minute...I already AM nuts.
