Wrapless cue, no sneaky petes, no stainless joints. around 500 + or -. Oh and it can't miss. I don't need alot of fancy inlay but real nice wood is mandatory. I got sqeaked out on ebay the other night and I'm not in a big hurry. Email or just post answers here. New or used it doesn't really matter.

I know of a cue from my local cue smith, Mike Martin. There is at least one person here who has hit with one. I know that he has a few ready to go in that price range +/- 50 dollars. Let me know and I can get some pics for ya.

how bout...

if your not so against stainless joints, i have a beautiful recently refinished black widow schon, will include a brand new schon shaft and a pechauer shaft. $450

Think you could get a new dzuricky for around that

www.dzcues.com

I have one of his cues and like how it plays, in fact it is slowly becomming my everyday player. Which of course means my schons going to go and I'm gonna have to get a blackheart or madison bob cue (if only I could make up my mind and find some coin in my wallet)

That is a beautiful Schon but not quite my style. Daytona Joe, I'm morally opposed to 60" cues :p but I like some of the other cues in your picture.

If you don't mind a bit of a wait for it, Viattorre, can build you what you're looking for (and probably a bit more) in that price range.

Jackson has been a pleasure to deal with so far and I've heard nothing but rave reviews of their cues and workmanship.

I have a couple Dominiaks that are really nice looking and playing wrapless cues, ALL in your price range, except for one that is made from Snakewood and Ebony, it's closer to $1K.

Hey DawgAndy,

Have you looked at McDermotts Feb. "Cue of the Month" ...the "Seville", it appears to be a Blud design(hmmm so that's what Blud was doing at McDermott :) ),nothing real fancy, hard rock,$199. Says it has SS joint but appears not to have SS in pics so I'm guessing the 3/8-10 is not SS. You could use another $200 of your 500 to order one of the new shafts and still have money for dinner. :)

See you're in Ohio. Have you checked Trogdon cues in Waterford or Sherms cues in Cincy?

I looked hard at the Seville by McDermott. I like McDermotts and that design is nice but ... I don't think those are inlaid deisigns. In the description they're called overlays and I'm not sure what that means. I'm familiar with both of those cue makers. Not quite my style.

Here's another one for you to check out (these are beautiful). The cuemaker...Arnot Wadsworth just joined AZB today which is what reminded me of his Q's. Check out the under $500 :D

http://www.arnotq.com

He uses a very unique way of making his Q's.
