Looking for an original Billl McDaniel ivory butt cap

I not sure if this is the right forum.
I've been offered a change to purchase a Bill McDaniel. The ivory butt cap has a crack in it. Can someone tell me if I can get the butt cap replaced with an original McDaniel ivory butt cap? If so, who?

i do not believe this to be possible as Bill is long since retired and sold his shop.. i am sure they are plenty of cuemakers that can replace it and make it look perfect... but to get an original one would be hard since they are made for each cue..

In my opinion. The chance for you to get a new replacement butt cap, with the "McDaniel" logo. Is 0.00% Almost any good cue maker could replace the butt, not with the McDaniel logo.
 
AZ members, Thank you for your responses. I guess if I can live with a hairline fracture and the price is right. It really too bad, beautiful cue, looks very similar to the one at the beginning of the 3 blue book. I see if I can get him to send me some pictures of the cue and butt cap.
