Looking for cloth cleaning tips

I just got my tables and rails recovered. I think the brand of cloth I had installed was Forstman. I used to just vacuum my table, but that seemed to stretch/loosen the bed cloth over time...so I'm looking for an alternative.

Should I just use a brush, or are some of the spray-on products better? Any advice?

I use forstmann 10447 for years. Brushing should be rare and when you do use a soft bristle brush. Most of your cleaning should be done with a light suction vaaccuum. This cloth does go through a break in period were you get excess pill. When the pill, balls up, pull them off by hand, don't brush them away. Cloth is generallly 75% wool and 25% nylon and brushing breaks the nylon fibers, that your nap. If you purchased cheaper versions of Forstmann, good luck.

this may sound funny but I have used a blower from my shop vac in my poolroom, its also worth noting that I had a large fan in the front door and fresh air coming in from the back of my poolroom so everything went outside. Normally I use an attachment from my house hold vac. When you take the end off and put it down on the cloth you shouldn't be able to pull up the cloth much at all in the middle and none towards the side of the rails and near the pockets. This demonstrates which I have stated before that the cloth is stretched more there.
