Just registered with AZBilliards. First time posting. Nice forum community going on here! I'm 36, and have been playing pool pretty regularly and consistantly since I was about 14. I've always used house cues and a pretty basic Player cue. I'm by no means on my way to turning pro, but I think its time to step up my game and get a good cue setup thats personal to me. I know alot of you are going to tell me to go custom, and for good reason, but I'm not there quite yet. I'm looking for a good production cue to get familiar with before I spend $700 + on a custom. I've had the opportunity to play with dozens of different custom and production cues, and I really like the solid feel and hit of Joss. I'm thinking of getting the Joss21 and trying an OB Classic shaft. I dont have a ton of experience with the LD shafts, but I'd like to see what all the craze is about. I feel perfectly comfortable with a standard Joss shaft, and usually dont have a problem putting the CB where I want it, but if something with a little less deflection helps me to improve my game, I'm all for it. I recently tried a Predator 314-2, but didnt care for it much. Looking for something a little more solid and crisp. If anyone has experience with a similar setup, or some suggestions, I would love some feedback. Looking for good tip suggestions too. Thanks!!!
