I'm looking to replace the rails as they seem a little tired, but I have no idea what profile they might be. I picked the table up at an auction and the hall it was in was there for 30+ years with the same tables. So at least that gives you an idea of age. It's got leather drop pockets, 4 big barrel legs and an otherwise basic looking base without any angles to it. One small bit of trim along the bottom edge of the base that runs between the legs.
Without cutting the cloth off I can feel where the edge of the cushion starts and it measures out 1.25" to the point telling me it should be a K55. I'm not finding any curvature to the top of the rail though. It seems flat from the rail to the point like a K66 would be. It's a fairly thick cloth, but could that add 1/8 of an inch to my measurement? Is there another way to tell the difference? Or could I have a different profile than either the 55 or 66?
I've been searching for information on rail profiles and the information I'm finding is pretty all over the map, and unfortunately nothing at all that references the dufferin brand tables. Hopefully you guys can help me out.
