looking for info on an old victor table

I have a vintage/old victor table I aquired some years back and just getting a chance now to finish basement and set this thing up (hopefully).
I posted on the other billiards site and got a little assist from there to try this one and see if realkingcobra or Jay Helfert could give me some history about these tables. The one I have is a 10ft (slates total 9 1/2 X 5 and are 1 1/2 inch thick) base parts stamped with #1300 and hand written 38092 also has the wire ball returns. I stripped the old paint off (beige with specks) and sanded then poly'd since the wood looked nice.
I contacted Lanza billiards and just got email back from Ed that this looked like a table called "The Palmer" except he had not seen one with the fluted ends of the table legs.

I don't have any information from you, but wow...that is a super nice looking table! I like how the legs are angled and the fluting, looks sweet.

More pics, especially full side view, or from when it was all together?

Give CP Dean a call in Richmond Va. They've sold many Victors in their day, would think they could give you some answers

Looks like a very early model, a very nice table without a doubt

victor table

Table was last together in 1992, I found out someone wanted to free up their basement space just before we were moving to new house (first offer was free then he changed mind and charged me $100). I took it apart and moved the same day we moved in since we had a truck and a few sturdy friends ( they said they don't ever want to move those slates again). It has been stored in my basement and slates came off moving truck and stayed in garage. Was hoping back then when we moved into new place that basement could be finished and billiard room set up but other priorities took over, plus offending column in photo (and removal of) has been a sore subject. Play area with column next to table:( is around 17 X 13, without and turn table 90 degrees and have 23 X 17 to play with.

mystery Victor table

Followed Billy's advice and contacted CP Dean. Bill Seldon said the company sold a lot Victors in the 50's and 60's (I figure this is from the 40's since its similar to the brunswick commander or streamliner) but hasn't seen anything like this...Guess it will have to remain a mystery!!
