i bought a southwest from John Wright, a freind of mine, in 1986 for $375 and sold it to a road touring 1 pocket palyer in chicago hieghts ill., the same year for $325. the guy was a good friend of Dick Weaver , a great player and my mentor at the time. i know don't beat me up on this one. the cue was ebony base, rosewood points ( 3 hi , 3 low) with 1 green veneer over each point. the main section of the sleeve was rosewood and the "sleeve ring" was also ebony. there was ringwork with green accents in the joint, in front of the "sleeve ring" and in front of the cap. i've decided to seach for this cue and i said to myself this might be a good place to try. i would call Dick but don't know how to reach him. it might be like seaching for a needle in a hay stack but i'm doing it anyway.
