Is there a particular reason you don't just buy a new copy? It's still in print, you can get both the soft and hard cover versions from Amazon. Or are you just looking to save a few bucks over the retail price?

When i tried to get the book new they tell me i cannot get it new and try the used ones which seemed to be priced way above the retail on the new book????

Weird, someone got me a copy for Xmas last month with no problems. Have you tried anywhere else? Some branches of Borders carried it the last time I looked.
