I have a buddy looking for some small pieces of wood.
Only needs to be 1/2 in diameter. But needs to be around 13 inches long.
Could anyone recommend a dealer?

This wood will be for handles on fishing rods.

There are many wood dealers listed online and having an idea about what species of wood he might be looking for will help the search along.
 
Believe it or not........eBay can be a good place to buy wood depending on what you're looking for.
That's where I first met Boone Bell of Bell Forest Products, BEM dealer extraordinaire.
As a side, he carries other species as well.

Search local, there are many places that carry good stuff, and you don't have to deal with shipping.
