I think I made a mistake in where I asked this question. I put it in the main forum and then I found this one so hopefully the moderators can correct that.

I am looking for symbols or shapes for a lack of a better term, such as diamonds, circles or squares in acrylic or other materials that I can buy.I know many people use cnc routers but I am just looking for pieces that I can attach to a rod. Thanks for any links if you have them.
 
Do a search for "mother of pearl inlay material". That should get you headed in the right direction.
