Hi guys, I have a couple of old cues, that have loose rings. you can grab them and rotate them very easily. what is generaly done here? hard, easy,costly?
The only way I know to properly repair loose rings is to disassemble that portion of the cue, reface each side of the ring and adjoining pieces and then reassemble the cue. This would usually necessitate refinishing the cue to do the job correctly.
It would not be an inexpensive repair under any circumstances.
