Hi cue fans

Some of you already know I have become a father for a second time (both mother and baby doing good). As such I have stopped playing on the UK Tour and I spend most of my evenings with my family. As my boys are not allowed to play pool (under strict instructions from the boss), we had to find an alternative to pool...and that's music.

So I am building a recording studio and music room on the back of my house. This needs a) cash and b) space. So I need to raise 'a' and by selling this lot I achieve 'b'.

I am not leaving the cue world/pool world, just having a clearout of some stuff I have amassed over the years. I am keeping all the cues and cases that were made for me unless someone has a hankering for a cue or case with 'The Diamond' on it, lol. There is something for everyone here, all different levels of stuff mixed in. Lots of collectables too. No specs on this thread although I will provide them if you really want them.

Shipping is $30 per cue and $50 per case, anywhere in the World. PM me or email to sdvali72@gmail.com for details or any interest.

In terms of trades.....I am on the look out for quality guitars, guitar amps and high end watches.

Sincerely

Si

So lets start with CHAMPIONS CUES, a good opportunity to own a World Champion's cue:

1) Darren Appleton's Predator Ikon 5. Extensively used by Darren and features his trade mark black linen wrap instead of the regular leather wrap, comes with one of his Predator 314-2 shafts: SOLD

2) Darren Appleton's Beassy cue. Presented to Darren for winning the Beassy 9 ball World Class Open. Cue is hand made from Teak Wood with metal accents. It also features a hand stitched leather wrap. The cue presented to Darren has an actual Diamond inlaid into it, unlike the normal version which has a cubic zircona. The shaft is very low deflection, like a Predator which is why Darren could use it. There is also a matching butt extension: $750

3) Raj Hundal's Bear cue: Raj has been photographed all over the world with this stick and has won many tournaments with it. It has extensive ivory inlays and features an original Predator 314 shaft: POA

4) Daryl Peach's hand made B+W snooker cue: Multi spliced snooker cue made for a World Champion. Plate on the butt features his name. A very rare cue in it's own right: $800

5) Daryl Peach's Rainbow Buffalo cue: You are not going to believe Daryl won the Masters with this cue in the 90s....but he really did. Viking cues then took pity on him and made him a fancy cue, so Daryl turned this into his break cue for many years: $200

6) Alex Higgin's JP Mannock snooker cue: Well, what can I say...the biggest name in snooker of all time (for his antics on and off the table) but whatever people say, Alex was a legend and a two time World Champion. Photographic evidence of Alex with this cue will be provided along with a letter from Alex's cue repair man and repair man for all the snooker greats from the 1960s to present, Bob Akers: $10,000

Comes with the original interior and a brand new replacement interior by JB Cases: SOLD

3) John Schmidt's fancy Jack Justis case: A fancy case made by Jack for John, all the options were used on this and took the price over $1000 without John's name associated with the case. Has John's name panel on the back and is also hand signed by John: SOLD

4) Jim Rempe's It's George Road Case: Made for Jim and used by him for 30 years. A historic piece of kit. Those that know Jim, know this case, bargain: SOLD

Joint Protectors

So in clearing out the cases, I find this lot.

All joints are here, 5/16-14, 5/16-18, 3/8-10, radial, uni-loc and others. There is a really nice ebony set in here and a rare set of Tim Scruggs caps with logos on the butt and shaft cap.

I don't want to split them up so I want SOLD for the lot which is good value as the ebony ones were $45 alone.

I didn't know appleton only played with linen wraps - has that always been the case?

I have given him cues with leather wraps over the years but he never settled with them.

Lots of stuff gone already. ..loads of bargains and collectibles left.
