I have a stock pile of wood. I am not so certain it is any good though. My Dad got A LOT of tongue and groove maple from a gym floor that was torn up from a University in the early 80's. It has been stored for the past 20 years in his garage. I cut some up for you to view...tell me what you think. I know they are not clear and have a lot of sugar lines in it.

The wood looks like regular lower grade maple to me. Nothing wrong with it, but most would want nicer wood in cues. It would be great for other projects or for those who are not real picky about their shaftwood provided they are large enough. This is just my opinion from seeing the pictures and I certainly could be wrong.
