"Not used very much since I don't break very many games! (In a race to 7, for example, I'll break about 4 or 5 times.)"

Man, you're losing all the time 4-7 or even 5-7 ? ;)

Just kidding, hope your cues will find a good new home.

On the contrary, breaking 4 or 5 (on a winner breaks race) times means he's won as many games (except if he broke on the first game and lost). That means he only needs 2 to 3 games off his opponents break. So he seems ok right? --- Unless it's an alternate break or loser breaks, then the scenario changes... ;)

Actually, in a standard winner-breaks format, it would mean he never wins a race to 7. The winner would have to break 6 times (after each of his first 6 wins). The 7th win would be the end of the set.

Back on topic.....does the Zac cue have a linen wrap, or is it a wood handle? The photo in the auction leaves a bit to be desired.

Yes. That's why I think he's an ok player. It's just the breaks of the game I guess. To lose every time on 4-7 or 5-7 might be an exaggeration.

Anyway, I also would like to try breaking with a Sledge... how do you guys rate it as a breaking tool?

Yup, you're right. We always play winner breaks. In my Ebay ad, I didn't want to get in a long story and bore the Ebayers to tears, so I hadn't really elaborated on that statement. But basically on a good day when I lose, I usually lose 7-4 or 7-5. On a bad day when I lose, it can be as bad as 7-1 to 7-2.
Hope you didn't take my comment as a knock to your game (it doesn't read like you did---just making sure). It's all relative anyway. If you're losing 7-5 every time against excellent shooters, that's not necessarily a bad thing. If it's to guys who can't figure out which end of the cue to chalk...well... ;)

Either way, if you're losing every time it would stand to reason that you're playing "up," whatever the level may be, and in the end it should help your game improve.

Yeah, if it's one thing I don't do very well is take pictures. It's a linen wrap on the Zac cue.
Thanks for the info. I'm not a fan of Irish Linen, but would have been interested if it was a wrapless cue. Good luck with it.

Hey paul

hey How are ya?

Just noticed that you have high starting prices on your cue's. I have noticed after much selling on ebay that if you start the bidding at $1 with a reserve in place, you'll gernerate more interest in the cue. Buyers would rather have their bid amount be private by bidding up instead of paying flat out for the cue.

I have sold quite a few cues on eBay and seem to have the most success when I prepare the auction this way.

Just a thought in case they dont sell on these listings and decide to re-list. I noticed that at this point you had no bids.
