I have a low spot in my slate of .019".
It is close to a long table frame rail so I
may be able to shim the dip out after the
slate is screwed down or maybe I will add
another support rail with an adjustment screw.
Either way I don't have any idea (experience)
as to whether or not the slate can be bent that
much and what the risk of breakage is. I know
every piece of slate is different and I wont hold
anyone responsible for their opinions, but I don't
have a clue and I wonder what you pros would
do in this situation.
Maybe this is a bondo moment? LOL
Thanks
Joe
