Lowest Deflection Wood Shafts

As for wood, I heard one or two pros betting their damned lives that would be Cuetec R360.

That noted, none of them both plays with that shaft now. Both switched for carbon, and primapily for sponsorship reasons. So just another sign that low deflection is not everything for a player. Had it been such, they would have stayed loyal to their shaft with lowest deflection they ever seen. Instead, they just adopt to something else, and that's the way it should be. Just study the shaft you own now, fair and square.
Cynergy 12.5 deflects less than a R360. Not by much but less. A kid in the 'hall had one and we shot them side-by-side.

Truth be told, it isn’t “harder”, it’s actually far more brittle.

I have refinished over a 100 maple cue shafts in my pool playing life for my friends and my own cues.
My Kielwood shaft experience is limited to one shaft (Cory Barnhart) but I have Jacoby Cues making
me two more different pin KW shafts for my other cues. IMO, the KW shaft I have is assuredly harder
than any of my cues original maple shafts that are mostly 4 oz weight. If I’m wrong, it’s my inexperience
with KW shafts but based on what I’ve seen and the KW shafts my friends play with, I think I’m correct.
Maybe if you do not reintroduce sufficient moisture to the shaft during torrification, it becomes more brittle.

KUH Fuhjin and Raijin both get rave reviews from friends here.
Personally, I think LD is consumer tripe for you to pay more money. Players much better than me would agree (some of them quietly as they swallow cheques from their sponsor).
Anyone wants to buy a KUH Fuhjin 3/8x10 modified. I got one I can part ways with.
Solid piece of maple that feels right is better than anything else.
Kudos to predator for renaming something they already produce in another market and getting people to fall on their knees for it 🤣
